first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, July 6, 2019:A tree fell on Grand Street and pulled down live wires. Top of telephone pole split. Police notified RMLD and Verizon. (7:54am)A Taplin Avenue caller reported finding a needle in their yard. Police retrieved item for proper disposal at station. (10:44am)Police assisted Fire Department and State Police with vehicle fire on 93 North prior to Exit 40. An open trailer — being towed by a pick up truck — was on fire. (11:09am)A vehicle crashed into a rock wall on Boutwell Street and other damaged two mailboxes. No injuries. Vehicle towed.
